Musical Groups

Mita Band

Founded in 1956

The Mita Band of Puerto Rico is made up of 130 musicians. It has excelled in various government, civic, cultural, and social activities in and outside the country. They have represented Puerto Rico in the Puerto Rican Parade in New York City, at the World's Fair in Seville, Spain and in countless activities both in Puerto Rico and internationally. They won awards for their sound quality, their musicality and dress uniform.

Musical Academies

The members of the Congregation who wish to be part of the Band or another group enter the Academy to receive musical knowledge by professionals in the area. These classes are free and music teachers provide them in their available time. Students learn to read music, develop instrumental and performance techniques.

Harp Ensemble

Founded in 1986

It is the only Harp Ensemble in Puerto Rico. It has great prestige in Puerto Rico; it has participated in countless governmental, civic, social, and cultural activities. We constantly receive praise for our group and hundreds of invitations to participate in various activities. They officiate at all of our religious services singing hymns of praises to God.

String Ensemble

Founded in 1950

It currently has 75 members. The instruments that are part of this group are: guitar, Puerto Rican cuatro, requinto, tiple, mandolin, string bass and percussion. This musical group has participated in various cultural activities and officiates in all our services religious. In addition, they accompany the preachers to the different towns preaching the message of salvation.

Rubbed Strings Ensemble

Founded in 2007

We have a group of rubbed strings made up of violins, violas, cellos and double basses. founded in 2007 and has approximately 25 musicians.

Mita Choir

Founded in 1990

It consists of 25 young and adult members, who officiate in the religious services of the Congregation performing hymns of praise to God. They are grouped in the following voices: sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. Periodically they do concerts to the delight of the community in general.
