The Work of Mita arrived in Spain in 2001 through the Dominican sisters Civelys Peña Ureña and Julia Margarita Ramírez Batista, who had become members of the Work in their country of origin and in the 90s went to live to Spain in search of a better economic future.
The first services were held in the city of Madrid and Sister Julia Ramírez took the message to many souls and contacted brothers from other countries who had gone to live in Spain.
In 2005, Aarón made his first trip to Madrid, Spain, performing various services and dozens of souls joined.
The Church of Mita has extended to Madrid, Bilbao, Barcelona, Valencia, the Canary Islands and other places and, in addition, two musical bands have been established to delight the souls.
