The Work of Mita arrived in Mexico in 1980, through the brothers Porfirio Zúñiga and Claudia Sánchez, who were a married couple who had learned about the Work in New York City. They asked Aarón to send preachers to Mexico. In this way, on the month of February 1980, the first workers arrived in Izúcar de Matamoros, the place where the first service was held, and dozens of people joined. In January of 1981, Aarón arrived in Mexico for the first time together with a group of brothers from Puerto Rico, specifically to the city of Puebla, where he carried out various services as well as in Izúcar de Matomoros. On that trip, Aarón anointed the first workers of Mexican nationality.

The Mita Congregation in Mexico continued to grow and strengthen and today we have thousands of souls who testify that Mita is the new name of the Holy Spirit of God and that He transforms the human being into a new creature.

On August 24, 2022, Rosinín arrived in Mexico City, her first ministerial trip as a prophet. During her tour through Aztec lands, she held services in the congregations of Acapulco, Puebla and Mexico City, where hundreds of souls attended to hear the voice of God through His prophet. Currently, we have a temple in Mexico City, another in Acapulco, Puebla, Veracruz, Izúcar de Matamoros, and Oaxaca. In the same way, we have two musical bands.

One of the first testimonies in Mexico occurred in March 1980. Rubiceli García Sánchez, a four-year-old girl, was healed in an inexplicable way for science. Her mother, Antelma Sánchez, put the milk on the stove and the girl approached, pulled the pan of boiling milk, and it poured into her face, which got burned and part of her body. Immediately, she was taken to the hospital and her doctors decided to send her to her house, putting a bandage on her face. In the afternoon hours of that same day, the girl was completely swollen, which caused her to be returned to the hospital. When checking her and removing the bandage from her, she was losing all the skin from her. Antelma shouted: "Mita, please, if you are the Holy Spirit of God, save my daughter!" They decided to transfer her to the capital to be treated by specialists. Upon arriving there, the doctors asked her why her daughter had been taken to Mexico City, if she was completely healthy. Astonished, her mother went to see her daughter and her surprise was huge when she saw her healthy, as if she had never burned her skin.
